Guanatos Grub started with one home cook's conviction that Houston deserved the real flavors of Guadalajara — made from scratch, no shortcuts. Founder Araceli Yarborough opened her doors in April 2023, and the city hasn't stopped talking since.

Best food I have ever had. Pepe was our server who was also just as amazing! We tried quite a few apps and entrees, but I can tell everything on the menu is going to be fantastic. Anytime we are back in TX, we will make it a point to stop back by here. 100/10!

My friend and I were looking for place to have a nice lunch and watch the FIFA World Cup. We were staying at the Spark Hotel next door and the restaurant was one of options highly recommended by a AI search. The food (specially the birria tacos) were really good!!! And it has a big tv and nice bar. Highly recommended.

Best "Birria Tacos" I've had in Houston 🌮🌮🌮😋🙌🏾‼️The roasted salsa was served hot in temperature and delish. This spot has a lively and fun atmosphere. Very clean restaurant with friendly bartender, wait staff and customers. Live entertainment & Karaoke on Thursday nites. Enjoy

We really enjoyed the Mexican food here! We had the chicken fajita, crispy tacos, and buñuelos for dessert. We particularly enjoyed the dessert! It is right next to the hotel we stayed at so it was very convenient. Our waitress was also very friendly. While we didn't order drinks, the ones other guests ordered were fairly large!
